So you have decided you want to start your own home based business. What kind of a business are you interested in? Some people are very interested in health products. This type of business is more popular now because of the baby boomer's. They are looking for a way to live as long as they can and enjoy life to the fullest.
So staying healthy is the way to go and there are a lot of companies to choose from. Before deciding on a Network Marketing company you need to do some thorough investigating. I recommend searching on Google to get information as they are the most reliable source. Some people go into business with a friend who they assume have investigated the company they are in.
That is not always true. They may have had a friend that talked them into the company they are in. So doing your own checking is the right way as with your own investigation, will give you the assurance that you have done your due diligence in preparation for finding the best company for you.
There are hundreds of companies out there from which to choose. There are many scams too so you will want to choose wisely. Google is a great way to investigate companies. There are lots of good home based businesses out there and I will be glad to help you find what I consider the best.
If I were to choose a company these days, here is what I would want to know about each company. These are my recommendations and I hope you will find them helpful.
I would want a well established company that is from 7 to 10 years old.
I would find out who the leaders are in this company and their background.
Is the company completely out of debt, and are they owned by the company or publicly traded?
What are their products? Are they ones that other people will want to buy and/or need?
How are the prices that they charge for their products?
How much does it cost to get started and how much do I pay monthly?
How does their compensation plan work? There are compensation plans to stay away from.
Can your business be passed on to your heirs?
What do they have for training and support for their distributors?
Do they buy leads or buy customers?
When you get all of these answers, you will know quite a bit about the company and whether it is for you or not. Don’t jump in so fast that you don’t have all your answers. You may be told an untruth. It can be very expensive finding out about a company the hard way.
I like a home based business that sells customers and does not sell or use leads. Leads can be expensive and are a bad investment. You need customers that are buying your products. When they buy your products they may then decide they can offer them to their friends by telling them what they have done for them and make some income. How extensively they do this will show up soon enough.
